In response to the complexity of our times, our focus is to grow a diverse inter-generational community of circle practitioners who work to promote racial, gender, ethnic, economic and environmental justice in our organizations and communities. We are becoming a circle incubator designed to accelerate the growth and success of circle practices through an array of support resources and services that includes grants, coaching, learning opportunities and networking connections.

Grants for individuals

We are dedicated to facilitating, sponsoring, and promoting programs that introduce, develop and disseminate the principles and practices of The Circle Way. To do this, we provide grants to applicants to:

  • Participate in a learning event that teaches and/or practices The Circle Way, and

  • Demonstrate leadership capacity and experience at home, work, or in your communities.

To apply for a grant, please submit the name, date, and location of the event you are registered to attend, a brief statement of intention for carrying the benefits of circle into the world, and the amount you are requesting. Grants are typically $200 - $500 USD (based on available funding).

The Circle Way Board has designated Equity Grant funds to encourage applicants who are Black, Indigenous and/or People of Color (BIPOC). Please specify whether your application would meet the Equity Grant criteria. There are also grant funds for non-BIPOC applicants.

In the spirit of mutual reciprocity, we invite you to think of this grant as a circle and contribute back to the fund in the future. In addition contributing financially back to the fund, we also invite additional, other practices that support mutual reciprocity (e.g. in-kind donations of time/energy etc.) that support the community (website, Facebook group, newsletter etc).

To apply for an individual grant or for more information, please contact us or email contact@thecircleway.net.

Grants for new initiatives and projects

To demonstrate our commitment to grow a diverse inter-generational community of circle practitioners, to promote racial, gender, ethnic, economic and environmental justice in our organizations and communities, we provide grants for new initiatives and projects (based on available funding). This might look like support to offset venue costs to increase accessibility and participation.

To apply for a grant, please submit a brief description of your proposed initiative or project to carry the benefits of circle into the world, the amount you are requesting, and a description of the use of the funds by completing the New Initiative Grant form. Return the completed form and any other related materials to contact@thecircleway.net. We welcome written or recorded video responses.
