Resources to support learning and practice

We often receive inquiries looking for circle learning resources. We’re sharing them here on the blog for easy reference:

  • The Circle Way Pocket Guide provides easy access to the structure of The Circle Way for those who need a quick reference guide or want to provide basic knowledge to a group, and is based on the book The Circle Way. It is available in English, French, Spanish, and Vietnamese as a free PDF download on this page.

  • Components Videos: 3-part videos on the components of circle practice can be found on this page, which gives a helpful introduction and orientation to The Circle Way process.

  • 2 Page Guidelines: The Basic Circle Guidelines pdf condenses the art of hosting a circle into a two-page, easy-to-understand document. They are available in 15 languages as a free PDF download on this page.

  • Short Ebooks: More free PDF downloads are available here, including a Hosting Guide for Virtual Grief Circles, The Circle Way for Communities of Faith, Understanding Shadow and Projection in Circles and Groups, Understanding Energetics in Circles and Groups, The Circle Way for Proactive Aging: A Harvest of Years, and The Circle Way for Nursing Leadership: A Model for Conversation and Shared Leadership in the Workplace.

  • Hosting circles online: A collection of resources for hosting circles online.

  • Circle Stories: There are many stories of practice under the Blog and previous posts for inspiration and learning.

  • Events: For any upcoming circle trainings, watch the events page here should some come available that work for you, and we also share news of events through our monthly newsletter (you can subscribe here if you aren't already connected to that list).

  • Quarterly Zoom Circles: Something else to check out is the free quarterly virtual circle held on Zoom; this isn't a circle training, but an opportunity to gather with others and be in circle together (all who are interested in circle are welcome - no previous experience is required). More information can be found here. We try to rotate the timing each quarter or so to make it accessible to those around the globe.

  • Facebook Group: Join The Circle Way Practitioners Facebook Group to connect with other circle practitioners around the world.
